Born and raised in Oklahoma, contemporary composer Clint Williams specializes in chamber works; His favorite chamber works to compose are instrumental pieces that tell stories without words. Clint earned his Masters degree in Music Composition from Oklahoma City University in 2020, where he studied with Dr. Edward Knight. Mr. Williams also studied with Dr. Gregory Hoepfner at Cameron University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in 2016.
Clint has collaborated with various performing artists all over Oklahoma; most recently he was commissioned by the Oklahoma Chamber Symphony to compose Greenwood, Archer & Pine, his most noteworthy work to date. The success of the project has resulted in an offer and acceptance to serve as Composer in Residence for the symphony.
Clint has also worked with the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra, El Sistema OKC, Windsong Chamber Chorus, Lawton Pro Musica, Southwest Oklahoma Opera Guild, Oklahoma City University School of Theatre and the Ann Lacey School of American Dance & Entertainment.
