What’s Special About This Concert:
Composer in Residence, Clint Williams, gives the world premiere performance of a requiem composed specifically for the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the OKC Bombing.
OCS will give a performance of Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings in the hall built due to the damage our venue sustained in the bombing.
Dvořák’s A Hero’s Song tells the story of the Oklahoma Standard; a people rising and helping their neighbors to overcome tragedy.
