Nathan Hobbs is a junior double bassist at Oklahoma City University. He has performed with various ensembles at Oklahoma City University, such as the Symphony Orchestra, Opera Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Early Music Ensemble, and chamber ensembles, as well as ensembles outside of the university, such as the Fort Worth Conducting Institute Lab Orchestra, the Houston Youth Symphony, OKMEA Intercollegiate Choir, River Oaks Chamber Orchestra, Texas Festival Orchestra at the Round Top Festival Institute and others. He currently studies with Tyler Shepherd. When not playing bass, he enjoys brewing coffee, exercise, and composing.
